Good to be back
Saturday, July 5th, 2008Back home, back in New York, and I’ve taken the opportunity to draw again.
Self-portrait in painting practice. I’ve never been much of a painter, so any practice even in Photoshop helps me deal with color theory a little better. Not to mention colors in Photoshop don’t get frustratingly muddy.
I could probably push the values in the future, but I was trying to make it as accurate to the reference photo as possible. I’m pretty happy with the subtle hues, at any rate.
